Temiskaming Lodge is nestled on the shores of Lake Temiskaming in the town of Haileybury which is one of three communities, including Dymond and New-Liskeard, that comprise "Temiskaming Shores". Our catchment area extends along the highway #11 corridor from Temagami in the south to Englehart in the north, and ranges from Elk Lake in the west to the Quebec border in the east. The total population of this area is about 14,000, with English and French being the predominant languages. There is also a significant Aboriginal component. The "Lodge" is an 82 bed (including 1 short stay bed) fully accredited long term care home that provides 24 hour nursing care to clients with physical and/or cognitive impairment.  We also have one private respite bed that may be used to ease caregiver burden.

What We Do

We are members of the Ontario Long Term Care Association and proud to be part of the Jarlette family of homes. Our physical layout consists of a single story with three resident care wings and one service wing. We feature a cozy living room with gas fireplace, a bright spacious dining room and relaxing garden patio. Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms and both hallways and common areas are decorated to project a homelike atmosphere.
