Temiskaming Lodge is nestled on the shores of Lake Temiskaming in the town of Haileybury which is one of three communities, including Dymond and New-Liskeard, that comprise "Temiskaming Shores". Our catchment area extends along the highway #11 corridor from Temagami in the south to Englehart in the north, and ranges from Elk Lake in the west to the Quebec border in the east. The total population of this area is about 14,000, with English and French being the predominant languages. There is also a significant Aboriginal component. The "Lodge" is an 82 bed (including 1 short stay bed) fully accreditated long term care facility that provides 24 hour nursing care to clients with physical and/or cognitive impairment.!!
