 DO NOT HIRE MATT. If you do hire him, DO NOT PAY UNTIL ALL WORK IS COMPLETED. Matt walked away from my job and left a dangerous mess in my yard (see attached video). He also left without refunding me for money he owed in the amount of $2,963.42 out of the $6,287.55 that I had paid him per his payment outline. His last communication said he would get an “appropriate” refund to me when “he had the money”. I have tried phoning, texting, several emails, and messaging through his FB as well as Greenercuts.ca to no avail. Now it appears he has disappeared from FB and his website. Today I sent him a private messenger message on his personal FB page asking him to call me to discuss this. My neighbour stepped up and offered to finish my retaining. I would like to be able to pay Gerry with the money Matt owes me.
